Host a Fun BBQ or Pancake Night with Friends!

The pavilion is perfect for both summer and winter use. Along the walls, there’s a bench, and in the center, you’ll find a large fire pit where you can burn wood and grill anything your heart desires.

The unique look of the building is ideal for themed parties, such as an Indian or Cowboy-themed night, a witch’s hut party, or even a gathering of forest fairies and monsters… The possibilities are endless!

 

SAUNAS

Come relax and wash away the city dust in a true wood-fired sauna! Matsu Talu offers the chance to enjoy a bubbly bath in the barrel sauna, throw some steam in the Finnish sauna, experience the art of birch whisking in the Russian sauna, and indulge in the cozy warmth of the smoke sauna.

TUDULINNA CHURCHES – 3 KM (~5 minutes drive)
In Tudulinna, you’ll find two churches located right next to each other. When visiting the churches, make sure to read the legends of the two Tudulinna churches – they add a fascinating historical layer to your visit

For all disc golf enthusiasts, there is a 9-basket beginner-friendly course called RAUDLIND located in the heart of Tudulinna. Perfect for a fun and relaxing game in nature!

JÄRUSKA BRIDGE – 8.5 KM (~10 minutes drive)
This is the first roofed bridge in Estonia. The bridge’s walls are lined with a lattice, on which a gallery of various nature photographs is displayed, offering a unique and scenic experience while crossing.

KAUKSI BEACH – 16 KM (~15 minutes drive)
Located by Peipsi Suurjärv, Kauksi Beach is the perfect spot for swimming and sunbathing during the summer. However, even in spring and autumn, it’s lovely to stroll along the seaside promenade and enjoy the fresh air of the pine forest. AVINURME WOODEN WORKSHOP– 18.9 KM (~20 minutes drive)
The Puiduait (Wooden Workshop) welcomes all those who appreciate good food, Estonian handicrafts, and the joy of DIY projects. It’s the perfect place to explore local craftsmanship and enjoy authentic, homemade products.

IISAKU MUSEUM – 19.8 KM (~20 minutes drive)

AVINURME MUSEUM – TRAIN / RAILWAY – 20.1 KM (~20 minutes drive)
All enthusiasts are welcome to take a nostalgic train ride  from May to October. Note: The train operates by reservation only, at least one day in advance!

IISAKU OBSERVATION TOWER – 20.2 KM (~20 minutes drive) – The 28-meter high Iisaku observation tower,  located on Iisaku Hill, offers a stunning view on clear days, including the towers of the Kuremäe Monastery and Lake Peipsi. Google Maps link here ->

ALUTAGUSE NATIONAL PARK – 20.6 KM (~20 minutes drive) –

SELJAMÄE EDUCATIONAL HIKING TRAIL – 26 KM (~25 minutes drive) – 
This 7 km long hiking trail mostly follows a boardwalk. The first section, from the parking lot to the Tudu forest hut, is designed to be accessible for wheelchair users, with handrails installed for the visually impaired.
